Select Players

This window allows you to find players in the database. It is used to select a single player (Player Profile and Head to Head windows) as well as to select several players at once (Team to Team and Summary Table windows).
There are two areas in the window: the grid with players on the left and the options panel on the right.
In the grid players are listed according to conditions specified in the options panel. For each player his name and country are displayed.
The options panel contains a set of items, which helps you to find required players easily and quickly.
In the Player Name edit box you can type any substring from player's name and press the Enter key to apply the filter to the grid. After that the player list contains only players, whose first and/or last name (you can specify this option in the Preferences window) contains the string you entered.
The Show Players combo box contains some predetermined player lists as follows:

The search is implemented among all the players in the database.

The search is implemented among the players who played at least one match since January 1, 2002.

Most Effective

The search is implemented among the players who won 100 or more matches during his professional career.

The search is implemented among the players who played at least one match since January 1, 2002 and who won 100 or more matches during his professional career. This option is on by default.

The Show Rankings panel contains the ATP / WTA Race and ATP / WTA Entry Ranking options. Using these settings you can see players' positions in these two rankings. If any of the options is on, the As of combo box becomes available, so you can specify the date of the rankings calculation.
The Group Players By panel contains some settings to help in grouping the players in the list by country, by first letter from player's name or both. The grouping is off by default.
