Matches Tab

At the Matches tab you can find a detailed information about all the player's matches. The matches are filtered according to the settings specified at the Tournaments tab. The Matches tab consists of two parts: the Main Area and the Navigation Panel.

Player Profile Matches Window

   Main Area

The Main Area consists of four parts. These are Grouping panel, Filter panel, Match list and Statistics panel.

Grouping Panel  

The Grouping Panel is placed to the left of the Main Area. Depending on current grouping mode specified at the Match View section of the Navigation Panel, this panel contains various items. For instance, if matches are grouped by tournament, each item represents a tournament, if matches are grouped by round, each items represents a round (final, semi-final, etc), and so on. Click an item to display the corresponding matches to the right part of the Main Area.

   Filtration panel

The Filtration panel is located on the top of the Main area The Matches page. Use it to reduce the displayed matches quantity.   

Show ... Matches


The filtration panel contains the drop-down list. The list allows you to display all the matches, only the won matches or only the lost ones.

Completed Matches Only

If the item is turned on, the matches list contains only the completed matches. The uncompleted matches because of the player's refusal are not listed.

Show Walkover Matches

This item is available if the Completed Matches Only is turned off. If the item is turned on the matches list contains only the uncompleted matches.

Played >= ... matches

This parameter is available if the matches list is grouped by opponent.
The list doesn't contain matches with opponents who had less matches with the player than specified parameter.

Opponent From
This parameter is available if the matches list is grouped by opponent.
The list contains matches with opponents from the specified country.


The Matches list  

You can see the matches in two modes: Single Mode and Table Mode.

   Single Mode

This mode represents the matches as single tables. The activated match heading is marked depending of current color settings.

By default the match list is in the Single Mode if their quantity not more of the maximum matches' number. The maximum number of represented in Single Mode matches is specified in Preferences window on page Players.

When the grouping matches isn't by tournament the name of according tournament is depicted on top of the match table. The tournament name is a link of the tournament profile. If the grouping matches is by tournament you may open the tournament profile clicking a link at Navigation panel or choosing an according topic of context menu.

If there is an additional statistics data of the match in the database (percentage of first serves succeeded, aces quantity and so on) there is a button Match Stats at the right match table side. The bottom allows you to find the additional match statistics data. The second button click close the stats window.

The match statistics panel displays additional information about matches and sets. Options at the top of the panel allows you to view statistics of the whole match and of single sets. The information about sets can be showed of hidden by enabling or disabling these options.

The following statistics are available for matches and sets:

Duration

Duration of a set or a match.

First Serve %

Percentage of first serves succeeded.

Aces

Number of aces.

Double Faults

Number of double faults.

Unforced Errors

Number of unforced errors.

Winning % on 1st Serve

Percentage of first serves won.

Winning % on 2nd Serve

Percentage of second serves won.

Winners (Including Service)

Number of points won, including serves.

Receiving Points

Percentage of competitor's serves won.

Break Point Conversions

Percentage of break points (an ability to win a game on the competitor's serve) conversed.

Net Approaches

Percentage of net approaches that brought a point.

Total Points Won

Total points won by the player.

Fastest Serve Speed

Speed of the fastest serve.

Average 1st Serve Speed

Average speed of the first serve.

Average 2nd Serve Speed
Average speed of the second serve.



The opponent name in the table is a link of according profile.

Table Mode

This mood represents the matches in a grid. The grid data may be sorting, grouping or filtered any convenient way.

Sorting Data  

To sort data in the table by values in a column, click the column header. The arrow displaying the sorting order appears in the column header. If there is no ability to set the sorting order in the column, the arrow does not appear. By the second click you can reverse the sorting order.

Filtering Data  

You can filter data in the table as you need. If the data in the column can filtered, the button with an arrow appears in the column header.

To filter data in the column, click the button in the column header. The emergent drop-down list displays all unique values in the column. There are two additional items in the drop-down list - (All) and (Custom...)

To set a quick filter by a value, select this value from the list. If you want to set a compound filter, select the (Custom...) item and setup your filter in the appeared dialog window. This window allows you set any filter you want.

When you set the filter by one of the described ways, the arrow on the button changes its color and the filter panel appears at the bottom of the table. This panel displays conditions of the filter, and allows you to disable, delete, or customize the filter.

Grouping Data  

To group data by values in a column drag the column header to the panel located above the table. The data is automatically grouped by values in the selected column. To group data by values in two columns drag the second column header to the panel. Grouping order may be changed as you need by ordering column headers on the panel. You can group data by any number of columns.

You may change the mode by the Switch to Single(Table) Mode link on Match View section of Navigation panel.
 
Statistics panel  

The Statistics panel is located at the bottom of the main area. The panel has following information:
a number of matches in main area;  
a number of uncompleted matches;  
a number of won/lost sets;  
a number of won/lost games;  
a number of won/lost tie breaks;  

Navigational panel  
 
The Navigational panel of the page Matches consists of four sections: Player, Match View, Match Details and Tools. Any section may be hidden. You also may to hide the Navigation panel at all through left mouse button click on the splitter that differs the Navigation panel and the Main area.

Player  
 
There is a reduced player photo.
 
Match View  

The Match View section contains links to change the matches list in the Main area or to select of grouping matches.

Switch to ... Mode

This link allows you to change the mode of the matches in Main area (table/single mode). The maximum number of represented in Single Mode matches is specified in Preferences window on page Players. If the matches quantity more than the maximum the matches list is represented in table mood automatically. By default the match list is in the Single Mode.

Group by Tournament

If the topic is activated the matches is grouping by tournaments. To view the matches played in the tournament choose it in the tournaments list at the left side of Main area.

Group by Round

If the topic is activated the matches is grouping by rounds (final, semifinal and so on). To view the matches played in the round choose it in the rounds list at the left side of Main area.

Group by Opponent

If the topic is activated the matches is grouping by opponent. To view the matches played with the opponent choose in the tournament list at the left side of Main area. In this case you also may use two additional filters at Filter panel of main area:
Played >= ... matches – to include the opponents which the player met with specified frequency to opponents list.  
Opponent From – to include the opponents from specified country to opponents list.  

Group by Number of Sets

If the topic is activated the matches is grouping by number of sets. To view the matches played in the selected sets number choose it in the sets list at the left side of Main area.

Group by Surface

If the topic is activated the matches is grouping by type of surface (hard, grass,carpet or clay). To view the matches played on the selected type of surface choose it in the surfaces list at the left side of Main area.

 
Match Details  
 
This section links allow you to get an additional information about the tournament the match have played.

Show Tournament Profile

This link opens the profile of tournament the match have played.

Show Player Profile

This link allows you to the opponent profile.

Player1 vs Player2
This link opens the Head to Head window, where you can see the history of the players meetings.


Tools  

The Tools section contains tools for manipulation of data in Main area.

Export to Excel
Export matches list with statistics to an Excel document.
