In the final in Melbourne, Roger defeated Andy Murray 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(11) for his fourth career Australian Open title and 16th career Grand Slam Title! It was their second meeting in Grand Slams finals (prev. US Open 2008) and Roger won both, not dropping a set. Federer wins Murray last four times and almost levels his career head to head with him at 5-6. |
